The Clean-up of Mining Tailings is essential for restoring ecosystems and preventing any more long-term environmental damage. 

Mining Tailings are waste materials left behind after extracting minerals from ore. This industrial process (heap leaching) is completed using a mix of toxic chemicals to extract precious metals, including gold, copper, uranium, silver and other minerals from ore. using a series of chemical reactions that absorb specific minerals and re-separate them after their division from other earth materials.

Heap leaching is the preferred method for miners worldwide, largely due to the fact that capital investment needs and more importantly the cost of production is considerably lower in comparison with other conventional methods of ore extraction such as “carbon in leach” (CIL). Heap leaching only works with oxidized minerals where gold is found molecularly free. 

The remaining residue from leaching is either a chemical sludge mixture or chemically saturated rock called Tailings.

Our clean-up system is a green, environmentally safe process s a sustainable extraction method, which safely sequesters all waste material, which is recycled and/or processed making mining operations environmentally friendly.
